Mitsui Garden Hotel Kyoto Shijo, Japan is surrounded by tourist attractions ranging from popular leisure spots to places known for their scenic beauty.
The design theme of guestroom is “dance”.
The wall behind the bed is designed to give the impression of being dressed in a kimono. And the headboard is accented with a kimono sash, or an “obi”. Woodblock prints depicting parade floats in the Gion Festival and selected from the Edo Period will further support the theme. The primary color will be “red”.
